Known for shaping an authentic, tightly produced dance music aesthetic, Franziskus Sell and Jakob Hildenbrand have been ruling the dance-floors word-wide for more than 10 years.

All this time they have gone through different phases, always leaving a mark and surfing the wave: from the unique motoric-funk style of tech-house of the early days, with hits like Vivian Wheeler for Still Vor Talent, Bronson Road EP and the debut album Steam Circuit for Highgrade Records, up until the more recent years characterized by their own Formatik Records and globally acclaimed successes like Gospel , Restless LP and Chunky.

Format:B have remixed for the likes of Paul Kalkbrenner, Martin Solveig,  Superflu and Moonbootica, their music has been played and supported, among others, by heavyweights such as Carl Cox and Annie Mac. This shows how their authenticity and originality have paid through the years, gaining a wide and diversified respect within the scene.
